Why was AZ Pool Exchange started?

Currently there is no open marketplace for Pool Service Accounts. There is no way to fine tune your account base to deal with the everyday changes. There are company brokers that will sell you an entire business. There are numerous informal networks to sell you complete account lists. However each of these requires a single buyer to make a substantial investment. Our free and open marketplace allows buyers, sellers, and account traders to easily tailor their service account base. Business owners can sell their entire account lists to a group of individual buyers. This speeds up the sale of their business and usually means more revenue to the seller because of sales competition.

Why do you allow the sale of individual accounts instead of complete routes?

For the first time, you can fine tune your account base by acquiring accounts near your other concentrations and selling off those outlying accounts that cost you oney to serve. Selling an entire route to a single buyer is costly and time consuming. Requiring a single buyer to afford the entire purchase can take months. Our system allows the seller to sell an entire route, but to more than one buyer. Therefore, selling the entire route is simple and fast. Additionally, sellers and buyers who want to execute small transactions, that would not be considered worth while to a business broker, now have a marketplace for these transactions. Finally, this marketplace serves needs that everyone in the pool service industry have recognized; to be able to fine tune their workload, service areas, and cash flow.

How much do the services cost?

Listing accounts is FREE. When a sale or trade occurs a small transaction fee is charged per account. The transaction fee ranges from $5 to $20 per account based on the number being traded or sold. When compared to other methods which cost an average of $100 to $200 per account our system is extremely cost effective. We charge the buyer a small fee for the arrangement of the transaction.

Why do I have to register to access the listings?

We are a membership based system. Even though membership is FREE, we still require user registration to reduce frivolous searches, provide more accurate market analysis, and reduce our operating costs. Your information is and will remain private. We will never rent, sell, or distribute your information to a third party without your express consent.

Will membership cost money in the future?

Basic membership will always be FREE. The Basic membership includes the ability to list, search, buy, and sell accounts. In the future we may offer other forms of membership that may have membership fees. We will never remove the capabilities of the basic membership. We want to be the premier pool service account marketplace. Therefore, we want to have the most buyers and sellers available.

How about transaction fees, when will they change?

We are currently in our Charter Member registration period. Therefore, if you register now your transaction fees will not increase for the next 5 years. You can "lock in" excellent transaction rates and ensure no fee increases for 5 years.

Why has nobody done this before?

Several attempts have been made and failed for various reasons. We have a business model based on extremely low costs of operation. We have excellent technology and staff. We are knowledgeable in the industry. We base our strategy on facilitating transactions between buyers, sellers, and traders. Since we offer business owners the ability to sell their accounts individually to a large group of individual buyers we can maximize their return on investment and speed up the transaction time to a few moments instead of months or even years.

Why do you only sell accounts in Arizona? What about my state?

Our software system has been designed to work nationwide. Our service delivery model is based on people with strong integrity being involved at the local level. We have those individuals in AZ.
